Make a solution of 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 cup water. Soak a cotton ball in the solution and dab it on the affected area. Leave it on for about five minutes, and then rinse with cool water. Do this 2-3 times a day.
Cucumbers have hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties which help deal with razor burn symptoms quickly. Plus, cucumber contains vitamins C and K, two key ingredients for relieving pain and itchiness.
To use, slice a fresh cucumber and put the slices in the fridge for 30 minutes. Rub the cool cucumber slices gently on the razor burn for 10 minutes. Repeat this at regular intervals until the skin is fully healed.
You can also puree half a cucumber and mix it with one-quarter cup of milk. Cool the mixture in the fridge for a couple of minutes before applying directly on the affected area. Allow puree mixture to sit for 10 minutes, and then rinse it off with warm water. Do this twice daily for 2 days.
