Gucci Sheer Blushing Powder Review
HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS/SMELLS:
The finely milled pressed powder is embossed with the classic Gucci G’s (they call it the Guccissima pattern) and feels as soft as rose petals when you run your finger over it. It comes in eight shades—one with a matte finish, five with a satin finish, and two with a hint of shimmer—and looks velvety on skin.
WHY WE LIKE IT:
It might seem superfluous to buy a Gucci blush, but this compact is more than just a fancy monogrammed package. The silky powder is incredibly fine in texture so it smooths over cheeks without a pileup of pigment or unsightly splotches; you can actually see the texture of your skin underneath, giving the illusion of an actual, honest flush. We’ve received compliments on our glowing, healthy complexion every time we wear it (we switch between Coral Flower, a satiny peachy pink, andTulip Blossom, a vibrant rose hue). Our only note is to tap off any excess powder from your brush before applying it; it’s superpigmented, which is great because that means this blush lasts longer than average. But it can end up looking a little intense if your brush is overloaded with product.
