This Aerin Rose de Grasse d'Or Fragrance Actually Costs $950
Let’s just say you found $1,000 on the sidewalk (and determined nobody nearby was missing it). What would you spend it on? Our current suggestion is the new Aerin Rose de Grasse d’Or fragrance. Why? Because it may just be the most luxurious thing to ever sit atop your otherwise meager vanity. Its bottle is literally dipped in gold. Real gold.
When brainstorming her upcoming spring scent launches, Aerin founder and creative director Aerin Lauder decided to step outside her perfectly perfumed comfort zone and embark on the super-luxurious world of high-end fragrances. The result? Her first-ever Premier Collection perfume: Aerin Rose de Grasse d’Or Parfum.
Just like its floral predecessor, Rose de Grasse, Rose de Grasse d’Or has a luxe base of rose otto Bulgarian, an essential oil extracted from one of the world’s rarest flowers. The scent base is softened with mossy, earthy notes like cedarwood and patchouli and rounded-out with a sexy and sensual hit of oud, leather, and musk.
Watch to find out how scent affects the memory:
If Rose de Grasse d’Or’s ingredient list doesn’t entice you enough, its packaging is sure to make your head turn and your jewelry box envious. Housed in the same signature silhouette as all of Aerin’s scents like Lilac Path, this limited-edition fragrance features a jacket of gold. Every Rose de Grasse d’Or bottle is hand-painted with 18-carat gold for a truly luxurious—albeit a little over-the-top—finish.
Only a limited supply of Aerin Rose de Grasse d’Or will be made and sold at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City for $950 per 3.4 fl. oz. bottle beginning in June, so if you’re dying to get your hands on the fragrance (or at least gawk at it through the department store window, like we’ll be doing), you might want to start saving up now.
