Urban Decay Vintage Vault Shades are Back for a Limited Time

You can transport yourself back to the days of Clueless and Nirvana without putting on a velvet choker or plaid flannel. With the help of previously discontinued lipstick, nail polish, and eye-shadow shades from Urban Decay, you’ll be back in the ’90s in no time. Select products from the brand’s first collection are back this week to celebrate the brand’s twentieth anniversary.

Urban Decay not only re-released nine of the original ten lipsticks, but also 19 eye shadows and 12 polishes in a limited-edition collection. All are available in a vault or you can buy each product separately exclusively on the brand’s website. The catch: Once these items are sold out, they’re gone for good—again. So if you love one, snatch up at least two or three.

“We’ve been wanting to bring back some of our vintage shades for a while now and instead of just picking a few, we decided to launch the entire original lineup,” Wende Zomnir, the brand’s cofounder and chief creative officer, told Popsugar. “These shades are more of-the-moment and relevant now than ever.” We couldn’t agree more. Bruise, a sheer burgundy lipstick, looks like it could have been used at New York Fashion Week this season.

Speaking of lipsticks, the Vintage Capsule Collection comes in the OG silver-and-gold bullet-case packaging. You can pick from bold colors like Oil Slick, a sheer black with silver glitter, and our favorite, UV-B, a duo-chrome blue-purple. Unfortunately, Roach, a perfectly angsty deep copper, is already out of stock online. Maybe we’ll be able to get our hands on it again in 20 years.

Shadow shades you probably used as a teen are included, too, and they are going fast. Seven are already gone. As for the polishes, they feature new bottles with a little skull on top and an updated formula. The colors, however, are as great as they were two decades ago. The name Plague freaks us out, but it’s a pretty, glittery purple. We’re guessing that will be the first polish shade to go back to Urban Decay heaven.

Now, learn some hacks to try with lipsticks:
